The ISO 80601-20-61 international standard detailed for the first time, the basic safety and essential performance criteria, both clinical and environmental,

to be achieved by Pulse Oximeters. All Nonin Pulse Oximeters are fully type tested (not just designed to comply) and comfortably exceed the requirements

unique 5 year ‘drop inclusive warranty’ on Nonin finger and hand held oximeters. We are STILL the only company to do this!

This covers failure of the device in the unlikely event it should cease to operate correctly due to being dropped from a standard use

operating height (around 1 metre, but we’re not going to quibble). In the event that a unit needs to come back to us, we will provide the

option of free of charge loan equipment whilst your unit is being repaired free of charge under warranty. (Subject to warranty conditions)

Free annual check to meet ISO 9001:2005 Calibration Record requirements

PROACT are also offering to conduct a free of charge* annual calibration validation check on any in

warranty Nonin Oximeter at our in-house service centre, Corby, UK. For an additional £10.00*, we will also

carry out Calibration Certification checks on any oximeters out of warranty as well as other manufacturer’s

pulse oximetry if required. Should any oximeter be out of warranty or another manufacturer and fail calibra-

tion testing then we will quote estimates for any possible repair and rectification prior to undertaking any

further work.

All validated oximeters will receive a certificate which can be used to show compliance with ISO 9001:2005

QA systems. Tests are carried out using the very latest oximetry testing equipment which checks the

accuracy of both the sensor and display unit against the manufacturer’s original specification.
